Our favourite album to come out of Finland last year, Jenni Vartiainen’s ‘Seili’, has spawned another single.
This time it’s the turn of ‘Eikö Kukaan Voi Meitä Pelastaa?’, one of the highlights from the album. It’s one of those songs that builds and builds into something of an anthemic number. We find it hugely uplifting, even though we don’t understand a word of Finnish!
For the video, they’ve created a montage of footage from the hectic year of success she’s just had in Finland, in which the ‘Seili’ album has managed to be certified five times platinum, selling over 100,000 copies. And it shows Jenni in a much more fun, less serious light that we’ve been used to seeing her in too.
