Finnish pop lady Jannika B wowed us with a fair few gems from her debut album between 2012 and 2013. And after a little break, she’s now back with a new single and video – ‘Jääkausi’.
She’s continued with the electro and the pop, although her sound this time around is a little darker and broodier. The production is a bit of a beauty, with plenty of drama going on in the shape of heavy drums, lengthy strings, and sophisticated synths. It’s pretty epic in tone anyway, but this is further helped along by the fact that the song clocks in at just under four and a half minutes. And bless her little heart, she’s shoehorned a key change into it as well.

We’re pleased she’s back, and still up to her same old tricks.
