Finnish electropop siren Jannika B is back with a new album (earlier in 2014, anyway) ‘Siva’, and a new single and video (two months old – sorry) ‘Itseni Herra’.
As is standard with Jannika B by this stage, for a new single we get a brilliantly produced slice of synth trickery. This one takes on a bit of a ballad form. But with no less of a ruckus being kicked up behind it. It’s a ballad with a beat. And a very sad melody being trilled over the top of it. Although as with all sad sounding songs in Finnish, we cannot actually confirm whether it is sad or not as we don’t speak a word of the language. We can confirm that it’s a beauty though, whether you speak a word of the language or not.
