Swedish pop duo JA have today released a video for their song ‘Another Day Tomorrow’ – the latest to be taken from their debut EP ‘To Be Announced’.
After earning over 500,000 views on YouTube and gaining 13,000 subscribers, their first EP was released a couple of weeks back. It features the singles ‘Caroline’ (more on that, and the on the boys themselves right here) and ‘Another Day Tomorrow’, two more original tracks ‘Dreamin Wild’ and ‘All Is True’, plus three cover versions – ‘Try’ (Colbie Caillat), ‘Waves’ (Mr Probz), and ‘Don’t’ (Ed Sheeran). It’s been released worldwide too – because their label 100 Songs are good like that.
‘Another Day Tomorrow’ is a good indication of what the rest of the EP is like – down-tempo acoustic guitar pop, the instrumentation of which is underplayed in order to let the melodies shine, and to put some focus on the quality of the vocals that both members have. As such, it’s devoid of any ABSOLUTE BANGERS, but it’s an EP that we’ve found ourselves giving lots of attention over the past two weeks, and coming back to quite a bit.
JA consists of Jonas Peker and Anton Hagman, both 16 years old. Jonas (the one on the left in the vid) wrote ‘Another Day Tomorrow’ himself, with Joel Isaksson and Oskar Nyman on production duties.
