Self appointed Mr Feelgood, J-Son, has decided to spread some further positivity in the form of his new single ‘Mr Feelgood’, by spreading some serotonin onto the dancefloors. He’s appointed two high profile and high quality producers to each come up with a remix of the track – tailored towards some hands-in-the-air action within clubland.
Two of J-Son’s fellow Swedes are the gents behind the new mixes – Niklas Bergwall (the man behind September’s ‘Mikrofonkåt’ and so many of Kate Ryan’s best moments) and Ali Payami (the fellow who produced Loreen’s ‘My Heart Is Refusing Me’).
You know we mentioned earlier that these are hands-in-the-air remixes? Well they LITERALLY are. The chorus leaves nothing to chance, and actually instructs “put ’em in the air, air, air air, hands in the air, air, air, air, put ’em in the air, air, air air, hands in the air, air, air, air“. Try keeping said hands by your side while THAT’S booming out.
The Niklas Bergwall remix is our fave – us being the commercial-myrtles that we are. The Ali Payami while still brill, goes far harder. And it’s just too early in the week for all that nonsense.
Both remixes are below. And here’s the ace original if you haven’t yet heard it.
