Who? VCATION is the new artist monikor for two of the biggest writers and producers in Swedish dance music. Michel Zitron and John Martin, who have been behind hits from Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and Axwell /\ Ingrosso. ‘Whiskey & Cola’ is their new tune.
Whiskey & Cola?! “Up all night doing whiskey and cola, you’re with your friends doing smoothies and yoga. But I don’t care now my heart’s in a coma, I’m up all night drinking whiskey and cola”.
Ok that’s marvellous. And wrapped up in a catchy pop tune, it’s even more marvellous.
What do VCATION say? “It’s such a classic break-up story, where you go out to the club and drown your sorrows – while you imagine the other person feeling amazing. You imagining the other person already happy with someone else. It’s a pop song for the broken hearted.”
