ohWho? The brand-new artist project from Robin Stjernberg and Benjamin Roustaing. The two initially met at a songwriting camp, but after some time working together on their own music, they this week launch as ohFrank together with their debut single – ‘Schizophrenic’.
What’s it like? As the title suggests, it’s a song with bags of personality contained within. But it’s also brimming with a bombastic confidence in its production – resulting in an earworm-worthy riff that you’ll be taking away with you whether you want to or not.
What do ohFrank say? “We made a fire in the cabin, opened some beers and just started talking about the fact that on social media, we literally only show 10% of our life – and it’s always the highlights. Don’t get us wrong, we have nothing against social media; it’s connecting people, it’s allowing music to be heard when previously it wouldn’t, it allows us to be acutely aware of what’s going on in the rest of the world, the list goes on… But, it’s also a platform where we can edit ourselves and cut out all the seemingly “bad” bits of our life and in a way that translates to how we carry ourselves in our day to day life. So, from that conversation, the idea for the song was created, and we just wrote an honest observation of what we saw today.”
Written by? Written and produced by the two chaps themselves.
More from ohFrank? An EP is on its way!
