Swedish singer and songwriter Maja (Strömstedt) debuts today with her first single ‘I Won’t Say’. The 18 year old Stockholm native arrives armed with a super catchy and well crafted pop gem. A repetitive, hip-hop styled synth bleats constantly underneath, as Maja delivers a sultry and confident vocal over the top of a sparse production, that draws comparisons with Alessia Cara or Grace. A very exciting debut we have here! The song was written by Maja herself, along with Anton Ewald and Simon Johansson (both of whom also produced).
