A brand new act (that’s Kamferdrops) take on an old Scandi staple (that’s ‘Jag Trodde Änglarna Fanns’) and it sounds awesome. Originally made most famous as a duet between Ole Ivars and Kikki Danielsson, it’s been re-recorded with an etheral vocal, a fair old helping of saxophone, and of course – a tropical tinged dance beat. The resulting affair is one that we truly hope we’re going to be hearing all over Scandi radio this summer. A classic tune with an irresistible melody (and a key change – which has been kept intact) re-imagined for the millennials. And the video even keeps Ole and Kikki in on the act! We LOVE it. Last night Kamferdrops gave the first live TV performance of the song on TV4’s Sommarkrysset. Watch below.
