Swedish singer and songwriter Bishat has today released her debut single ‘Sober’. A relentless electronic beat draws us in, before we’re met by her soulful vocal delivery of a song which she describes as “a song about the early stage of a relationship that you think has so much potential and the painful realization you’re not getting what you need. It’s a story about attraction, alcohol and 4 AM decisions and the trickiness of looking at things soberly”. This is Bishat’s first single, though she made some waves at the end of last year after posting her vocal mash-up ‘Some Things’ online.
