The Act – aka a producer and singer that was born in Norway, grew up in both the Faroe Islands and Denmark, and now lives in Sweden – has just launched his debut single. It’s called ‘The Way That You Are’, and is an attempt at producing a sound that The Act calls Symphonic EDM. In his own words; “something that is romantic and tragic, which sucks you into its world of lost souls and is a celebration of the flaws we share“. We were drawn to this halfway through the first listen – right as that first post-chorus finished. It’s got a pleasingly simplistic refrain melody that’s been implemented here, and the resulting bags of charm that it exudes become very apparent very quickly.
