Danish dance artist Ida Corr has this week lifted the latest single off of her impressive ‘Corr Values’ album. It’s ‘Jungle Fever’.

A hypnotic track that puts more focus on a bewitching production than it does its top-line melody. She hisses and hums her way around the vocal, allowing an intriguing mixture of synths and blips take centre stage. The experimentation means that it’s not as instant as her other two singles from the album, ‘Hold My Head Up High’ and ‘I Found Her’ (search the side bar on the right, to check out those if you’ve not yet heard them). But it’s well worth a listen, and it’s a good advert for the ‘Corr Values’ album. Ida is one of the most interesting characters on the Scandinavian dance music scene, and this goes some way towards explaining why.

This week she also put out a sexy lyric video for the song – featuring that man in the artwork above, writhing around with no clothes on. Watch below, but do try to have a listen while you’re at it.

‘Jungle Fever’ is out now and has been released outside of Denmark too.
