Just when you think Hera Bjork has exhausted herself enough already by single handedly saving this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the brilliant ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’, she comes along and presents us with an awe inspiring video to go along with it. The song is by far and away the best entry to Eurovision later this month. It’s the only 10/10 moment. But the video does the impossible and makes it even more enjoyable. Just for its sheer spectacle!
Hera enters a public swimming bath, looking for a relaxing way to spend her free afternoon whilst she gears up for the excitement of Eurovision. But disgusted by the receptionist’s ignorance of her God-like presence, she proceeds to change into the bright red, matador trimmed, theatrical dress that she wore for the press shots for her forthcoming moment of glory. How dare he not notice who she is! Well this will teach him. So she storms through the complex, barging her way through the communal showers, drawing looks of both terror and adoration from the astonished patrons. Hera then descends the staircase leading to the main swimming pool, looking the epitomy of regal glamour. Then, satisfied that she is now the visual focus of EVERYONE in attendance, she climbs the ladder to the diving board, and ceremoniously jumps into the pool below. Well done Hera girl – point well made!
