The Hej Matematik popsters are back with a brand new single and video – a song which is probably our favourite output of theirs so far.
The Danish duo have cranked up the beats and the synths and the bpm, coming out with ‘Sikke En Fest’. The English translation of that title, not that you’d have any doubt after hearing the song, is ‘What A Party’. It’s pleasingly mental. It goes from a melodic verse, to one of the most exciting bridge build ups that we’ve EVER heard in a song (you’ll know what we mean when you hear it – it ends in an actual scream!), to an instrumental rave up of a chorus. That’ll do nicely thank you very much.
The video features the chaps cycling around Denmark – what looks like ALL of Denmark. And it finishes with a cheeky ending. The scamps.
And bravo to the boys for releasing the song outside of Denmark too. This is very good pop music that needs to be heard. Video and purchase link;
