Well this is our FOURTH time writing about this track over the last couple of months – so there ain’t a lot left to say about the song itself.
HOWEVER, Peter Jöback and ‘Jag Har Dig Nu’ warrants another mention on these pages thanks to the almighty performance he gave of it during last night’s Swedish Idol show. It was all breathtakingly showgirl. As theatrical as four backing dancers on that small Idol stage allowed. And yes, that IS a Shirley’s Angel you can see frolicking about behind him. Although of course a well scrubbed up Peter still managed to be the star of the show, donning a superbly fitting shirt, jacket and tie combo, and shaking those hips like his Livet, Kärleken & Dödet depended on it! Queen Showgirl Kylie Minogue herself would have been proud of this performance!
In other Jöback news, this song’s parent album ‘Livet Kärleken Och Döden’ debuted in the Swedish album chart yesterday at number 2, just behind Coldplay’s new one. Marvelous.
