Delectably different Swedish electro vixen, Emmon, appeared on Swedish TV this morning to give viewers a glimpse of what she’s all about.
We wrote about ‘Distance’, the lead single from her new album back in April, liking it then and still giving it lots of appreciation now. Unfortunately, the follow up single, ‘Ghost Dance’ didn’t really grab us as easily, so we never mentioned it. HOWEVER, it turns out that Emmon is one of those artists whose music properly comes to life when performed live. The set she turned in on this morning’s Nyhetsmorgon was really a little bit brilliant. Not only does she truly come into her own as a performer, but the synths in her music also connect a lot easier as well, when presented as part of the whole live package. And just to wrap it up as something even more special, we couldn’t help but find the whole ambience of the performances to be quite captivating too.
