This week’s guest Spotify playlister for scandipop.co.uk is SOJO’s resident boy half, Johan!
He did a LOT of partying last weekend, celebrating the week’s events which saw SOJO’s debut single ‘I Remember’ fly into the top 30 on Swedish iTunes. So it’s fitting that he’s compiled a playlist of songs that are essential listening fodder around the Stockholm city centre apartment he shares with SOJO’s other half, Sofie, while they’re getting ready for a night out. It’s called ‘Pre-Party’ and is crammed full of Guetta/Pitbull/Afro-Jack/Red One/Benassi flavoured club hits. A nod is given to the Romanian sound of 2011 dancefloors, with ‘Mr Saxobeat’ and his own ‘I Remember’. And there’s a couple of less club orientated tracks from Justin Bieber and Amy Winehouse, that just sound good to sing-a-long to when you’ve crossed the line of being slightly tipsy, to quite drunk!
