Annie‘s got a guilt on after revealing that it was her and not her label who wanted the album pushed back to early next year. So she’s gone and uploaded a free mp3 to her website. It’s a cover of eighties classic ‘2 of Hearts’ by Stacie Q. And it sounds rather nice – exactly how you’d expect Annie’s version of an eighties song to sound like anyway.
She also revealed that the reason why it’s been put back again, is because she’s got some very strong new songs (she’s working on them with Paul Epworth) that she wants to be included on ‘Don’t Stop’. We’ll forgive her. It’s very difficult not to.
