Swedish synth duo For BDK have finally followed up their debut single – which is without a doubt one of the best debut singles of the year so far, ‘New Ways Of Digging Deeper‘.
The new one is ‘Open Ones Eyes’. Picking up from where its predecessor left off – it’s deliciously dark and dramatic stuff. Theatrical synths that sound like they could serve a particularly shocking final scene of a cinematic thriller really well. Slightly exhilerating. A big chorus in the vein of ‘New Ways Of Digging Deeper’ is missing, but not missed.
The video they’ve released for it is an eight and a half minute epic. We’ve included the Spotify stream for anyone who just wants to hear the 3:53 radio edit (although we reckon that might just be available to stream in Sweden anyway). But really, we’d recommend taking the whole extended thing in. It’s worth it.
