Swedish singer Erik Hassle has this week premiered a brand new single on Sveriges Radio. It’s a whole new track, not featured on his 2012 album ‘We Dance’.
It’s called ‘Grace’ and it’s a melodic ballad, FRAUGHT with emotion. Few people do ballads brimming with sadness and despair the way Mr Hassle can, and ‘Grace’ is another musical triumph of his. Heavy on the piano to start off with, and then some epic strings are pumped into the mix. It’s not a ‘minimal’ ballad like his hit from earlier this year ‘Stay’ – instead ‘Grace’ is big and majestic and “LOOK AT ME I’M SAD”.
No word yet on whether this is a one-off single, or from a new album or EP, or if it’s from a re-issue of ‘We Dance’. But never mind all that, just listen;
