Last week, Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, hosted a series of small live gigs from some of the Melodifestivalen finalists on their website. Nicke Borg, Swingfly, The Playtones, and Sara Varga performed an intimate acoustic set for the webpage, but it was Eric Saade and Sanna Nielsen that we were much more interested in of course, being the schlager pop freaks that we are!
Eric did ‘It’s Gonna Rain’, ‘Still Loving It’, and a ballad version of ‘Popular’, which was released to Swedish iTunes yesterday. And Sanna performed ‘Empty Room’, ‘Devotion’, ‘I’m In Love’, plus a version of Robyn’s ‘Be Mine’.
Some relaxed viewing to ease those post-Melodifestivalen blues, of which we are most definitely suffering from right now!
