What’s this? A brand-new EP from whom are potentially the most reliable pair in Swedish dance music right now when it comes to gifting us all with them bops – Jubël. They’re out with ‘6115 Orange St.’
What’s on it? The HITS – ‘Dumb‘ and ‘Weekend Vibe‘ – plus three brand-new songs.
What are the new songs like? With the new songs, Jubël have done what really every artist should be striving for (and yet not enough actually do, unfortunately) – they’ve made each and every one of them as strong as the singles and the smashes. Special mention goes to ‘A Part of You’, which has the most beautiful kind of sadness-in-paradise tone to it. And well another special mention must go to ‘Vanilla Sky’, which gives us summer-in-Eastern-Europe vibes, which is most definitely A Vibe you wanna have. And actually then a further special mention must go to ‘Puerto Rico’ which has later-in-the-summer single written all over it, and rightly so.
More from Jubël? Last summer (well, spring – but it stayed with us all through the summer too) they released yet another fantastic EP – ‘Strawtown‘.
