Now that his former REbound bandmate Rabih Jaber has launched himself out of the starting blocks of solo careerdom with the rather immense ‘Millionaire‘, we’re left wondering when REbound’s other half, Eddie Razaz, will be blessing us with the first fruits of his solo labour.
Well there’s not quite any definite news just yet, however we did push him on the matter today. We got him to confirm that he’s working on his first solo record full time now, and that he expects his very first single to be coming out this Autumn.
What brought on this renewed bout of curiosity was the appearance online yesterday of a recording of Eddie singing his own version of ‘Criminal’, from Britney Spears’ current ‘Femme Fatale’ album. It’s LUSH in so many ways, such an absolute beauty. And if you’re a fan of Eddie, of Britney, of Max Martin composed pop, or just of pop in general really, then you should gift your ears with a listen or five of the below!
