It’s ALL GOING OFF where we’re at right now, because Therese has just premiered the Wideboys remix of her sonically ground-breaking single from last year, ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’!
The single was released in Sweden in 2010 and is now also out in the UK on Universal. As you might remember from the 2011 scandipop awards, we absolutely love this song, and we’re enjoying this new mix of it immensely too. Wideboys are one of our favourite remix teams, so when we first heard that this mix was happening, we did get a tad excited. And thankfully it hasn’t disappointed. It actually puts the song on a more commercial tip, giving it much more of a versatility to fit in with what’s being played on today’s dancefloors. We still prefer the mind-blowing original of course, but this new mix is a welcome addition to the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ experience, and will hopefully help the song reach out to far more people.
