Elisa’s swanned into Nyhetsmorgon earlier today in an attempt to put some smiles on the faces, and springs in the steps of a -20 degrees Sweden. And to flog their new album too.
They performed a couple of new tracks from it. Not our beloved ‘Linjen I Min Hand‘ unfortunately, but then we do concede that it takes a special kind of ear to appreciate such sounds before 10 o’clock of a morning. Instead we got the album’s lead single ‘Jag Säger Som Det Är’ (which itself sounded like it had been pumped up in tempo anyway) and the much slower ‘Är Det På Riktigt Eller Drömmer Jag’.
The album was released last week and faces a lot of competition for them to get their second number 1 album when the charts are announced this Friday. They’re up against new albums from Laleh and First Aid Kit which were released on the same day. And yes – you can get all three from our online store here.
