Danny Saucedo is currently reintroducing himself as a solo artist (whilst in the middle of promotion for the new album from his band, EMD – busy chap!), ahead of his debut solo appearance at Melodifestivalen in a few month’s time. He’s released a cover of The Attic’s ‘In Your Eyes’ as a new single in Sweden, and will of course compete in Melodifestivalen with ‘In The Club’ in February. He dropped into the Rix FM studios earlier this month to chat about that and to sing an acoustic version of ‘In Your Eyes’ which was rather lovely we have to say! It sounds beautiful as a ballad. And the vocal gymnastics get VERY challenging towards the end too, as you’ll hear! Although of course we still prefer the clubbed out single version.
