Sir Daniel of Saucedo has gone and released the remix EP of his single ‘Amazing’ worldwide. It had been available in Sweden for a while, but now his international fans can get a piece of him too.
There are three remixes on offer, although surprisingly it’s the more subdued one of the lot – the acoustic version – that we’re loving the most. It’s a pretty elaborate acoustic version. In fact we wouldn’t even call it acoustic personally, but if that’s what Danny Saucedo says, that’s what we do. It’s really well made. A big new arrangement featuring a gorgeous string section, a piano, and with even a choir coming in at the end. And of course he’s re-recorded the whole thing too, and it’s great to hear him sing it in a whole different way – particularly when he approaches the final chorus, and then the outro.
As for the other two remixes, well there’s the Swedish House Mafia-esque Maison & Dragen mix, and then the Trinity Dubstep Remix – which of course sounds just like an extended version of the dubstep breakdown during the middle eight of the original ‘Amazing’. No bad thing.
