Oh what a title that is! You just know what you’re getting with that, don’t you?!
Daniela has solidly been building up a repertoire of excellent dance singles for the last couple of years now. ‘Fire’, ‘Push It Up’, ‘Back On Track’, ‘You & I’, and ‘Chain Reaction’ are all favourites of ours, and obviously many readers of ours too, judging by the emails we’ve had about her in the past. So it’s fantastic news to hear that she’s back with a brand new single, ‘Left My Heart On The Dancefloor’. And it’s also fantastic that we’ve been given the exclusive first listen!
It’s another Niclas Kings composition and production. Daniela and Niclas Kings are clearly a winning formula that certainly ain’t broke, so should never be fixed! ‘Left My Heart On The Dancefloor’ sounds like a Kate Ryan production with a little less of the eurodance elements. In their place, are early noughties style balearic beats and synths, to give it that cooler club sound. Our favourite part though, is the pure pop post-chorus. It’s an arms-aloft chant of ”is it love, is it love, is it lo-ove”, and the sheer joy you can hear in Daniela’s voice is totally addictive, and big smile inducing!
Mark this one down as yet ANOTHER triumph for her. She’s yet to release a dud single, and we hope that she never stops!
You’ll be able to hear ‘Left My Heart On The Dancefloor’ for yourself, when it’s uploaded to her myspace page tonight, or by tomorrow at the very latest. The single is her next release in Sweden, and it gets sent to Swedish radio next week.
Oh, and there’s some more great news regarding Daniela – her older hit, ‘You & I’ gets a release in the US on November 3rd!
