Buoyed by the success of AATW’s Clubland tour, our favourite UK label, Hard2Beat, have announced a national tour of their own – Dance Nation Live. What does this mean for fans of Scandinavian pop music? It means that we get to see Basshunter and September perform live! Although not if we live in London it would seem. For the moment, the tour is only visiting the North of the UK; Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Cardiff, and Belfast – this sort of music has a reputation for being vastly more popular in the North than in the South (the second Clubland tour also skipped London, and dance compilations and dance artist albums such as Scooter and Ultrabeat sell most of their units up North). We’ll be making the trip to Manchester in that case!
