Consistently good Danish Clara Sofie has today premiered her new single and video. Such an event is always worth a listen, and more often than not a cause for repeated listens.
The latest single is ‘Ild & Vand’. A glittering synth ode with a melody so heartwrenching that it gives us a major case of the happy sads even without understanding the Danish lyrics. Powerful stuff. Or maybe just romanticist listener. But probably a little bit of both. ‘Ild & Vand’ is an epic piece of pop, and already one of Clara Sofie’s finer moments – which is quite an impressive feat when you take a listen to what she’s come out with before.
