Fans of Snow Patrol (probably wouldn’t be reading this) are going to benefit from an injection of scandipop this spring when they go to see their heroes perform in some of the arenas of the UK. The lovely Annie will be their support act for four shows, one of which will be in the gargantuan O2 arena in London. The prospect of seeing Annie belt out ‘I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me’ in the middle of THAT venue is ALMOST enough for us to purchase a ticket for a Snow Patrol concert. But we won’t. It is a nice thought though. What’s not so nice, not nasty per say, just a bit odd – is that Snow Patrol refer to Annie as being a new act. Which isn’t so bad in itself, but in the same announcement, they give themselves a pat on the back for, as they call it; ‘’championing new music’’. Whatever gets you through the night boys. She’s been going almost as long as they have hasn’t she?!!!
In any case, it’s a great coup for Annie, and it’ll be a wonderful opportunity for her. Below are the dates that she’ll be stunning the soon-to-be-converted;
