Swedish glam outfit, The Ark, are embarking on one last outing to clubland. Before they bid a tearful farewell to fans next month, they’ve unleashed one final flirtation with dance music to ensure that their memory lives on on the dancefloor long after they’ve gone.
Mr Soundfactory has been recruited to electrify their swansong of a single, ‘Breaking Up With God’. And he’s risen to the task with the same grace that The Ark are intending to when they soon begin their ascension to band heaven in the sky! He’s transformed the track from pop anthem to club anthem with an OTT overload of electro house. It’s a song which lends itself very well to dancefloors anyway, but it doesn’t get played at the type of clubs that WE go to! The Soundfactory remix should see to it that the song gets played on even more dancefloors now, and probably for a lot longer too. That “ooh-ooooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh” set to hard electro synths is going to sound immense at 2.30am!
