Well it looks like Jessica Folcker is well and truly making the most of her comeback. After gifting us with two superb new singles already this year, ‘Who Am I‘ and ‘It’s All About You‘, the Swedish pop legend now teams up with Austrian house music duo Barnes & Heatcliff, to provide the featured vocal on their brand new single ‘Strong Enough’.
So yes, it’s a dance track naturally. And one with a poptastic heart – which allows Jessica to deliver a massively melodious top-line over it. It’s all very BIG. A heart wrenching yet uplifting melody which gives way to a rave-up instrumental, and then softens again in time for Jessica’s second verse. And it’s potentially that very second verse that is our favourite bit. We all knew the girl could sing, but Christ she turns it out on here.
She’s been making all the right moves with this comeback so far, and ‘Strong Enough’ is the latest highlight. We’re delighted to have this woman back in pop music.
