Robin Bengtsson last week released his third single under his new artist moniker B Robin. And after two strong debuts (listen to both of them here), he’s returned with another absolute jam. It’s ‘Sleep On It’.
A veritable symphony of strings layered over a funked up track and with Robin’s velvet vox over the top of everything. His voice is pure *thumbs up emoji*. Female Swedish soul pop has been doing a roaring trade in 2014 – and here comes B Robin doing it for the chaps. That voice being channelled into this genre is a bit genius of him. He’s got it totally right there.
Best bit: the post-chorus. You know we love a post-chorus.
