So after the phenomenally successful ‘Wake Me Up’ and the also very big indeed ‘Hey Brother’, the next single to be taken from Avicii’s ‘True’ album is ‘Addicted To You’
It’s a short and sweet (clocking in at under two and a half minutes) offering. Much in the same vein as the aforementioned hits from this album, in that it’s got a bit of a country twang to it. It’s also got some blue eyed soul. And is probably more pop than dance, truth be told. But we like the fact that the biggest dance artist in the world right now sounds like he’s a pop artist. Trust good ol’ Sweden to bring it all back to pop, eh?
The most ear catching thing about ‘Addicted To You’ is no doubt the impressive vocal. And those ace vox you can hear belong to American singer Audra Mae.
