Anniela is still churning out singles from her ’Electric’ album released earlier this year. And rightly so – it’s a sodding pop masterpiece as far as we’re concerned. Hugely underrated and a thoroughly enjoyable listen from start to finish. One of those rare pop albums that actually increases in quality during its second half!
Anyway, the latest release from it is ‘Party Crusher’. A melody driven pop track not a gazillion miles away from Kylie. In fact, had ‘Party Crusher’ actually been on Ms Minogue’s most recent ‘Aphrodite’ album, it would most certainly have ranked amongst the better half of the tunes on there. It’s pure pop with a devilish nod to 90’s house music. Oodles of fun, and exactly the sonic style that we like to see Anniela continue with going forth from this ‘Elektrisk’ era.
