It’s the first ever festive release from the Danish pop peddlers. And naturally it’s an up-tempo pop fest. It’s got a distinctly retro flavour to it though, channeling one or two Christmas classics of yesteryear (we’re hearing smidgens of Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ in the music). And this is Alphabeat – so there’s nothing subtle here. Christmas bells ahoy, and an OTT feeling of festive frivolity.
