Allsång På Skansen took place again this week. We went along on Tuesday evening and sat in our usual seat, all ready to be entertained by the usual mixture of top notch singers, slightly awkward audience participation, and Swedish comedy that doesn’t make an awful lot of sense to us. And yet again, we were enthralled by every minute!
Every time we’ve gone along to Allsång På Skansen we’ve loved it. It’s a combination of the artists, the atmosphere, and the amazing views of Stockholm from Skansen. Plus, Måns Zelmerlöw is doing a splendid job as host. And we actually got to grab a few minutes with him backstage after the show for a chat. Which will be uploaded here at some point over the next week or so. He even spoke about his plans for releasing new music – *scream*!
Ok then, so here were the highlights;
- Malena Ernman singing her latest single, ‘I Det Fria’. Of course.
- The brilliant and bizarre duet between Malena and Måns
- Vanessa Falk joining Petter on stage as guest vocalist – and looking amazing in the process. And we also met Vanessa backstage and she told us that there’ll be another single in the Autumn, before she finally finishes work on that debut album of hers.
