Swoonsome Swedish model Alex Alexander has turned popstar. We like it when they do that. Well, actually he’s been playing around with a guitar for quite a few years now. But this week he uploaded his first official single to YouTube. And we really like it. ‘She’s a Dynamite’.
As his guitar past hinted at, the sound he’s gone for is the more rockier side of pop music. ‘She’s a Dynamite’ is a big and loud, rock and pop anthem about a girl who is so hot, she is LITERALLY “a dynamite”. At first listen this was a tad on the generic side, and certainly nothing ground breaking. But repeated plays reward the listener with a massive catchy chorus that Kelly Clarkson would be proud of, when she’s in one of her more commercial eras. And it’s perhaps because he’s now based in LA, that results in ‘She’s a Dynamite’ having a sonic reference point that’s halfway between Swedish pop and US pop.
