Riding on the wave of awe-inspiring brilliance that is his latest single ‘The Weight‘, Swedish newcomer Mavrick has finally gone and dropped his debut EP today. It’s called ‘Atlantis’, and along with ‘The Weight’, it features five brand new tracks (earlier singles ‘Remedy‘ and ‘Funeral‘ missed the cut). An impressively cohesive set, where anthemic productions back a supremely soulful vocal from Mavrick, and a choir or two pop up along the way. ‘The Weight’ aside, our big faves are ‘Give Up’ and ‘Hail To The Queen’. ‘Give Up’ in particular is the song that should join ‘The Weight’ as his all-out strategy to conquer the world. It’s an absolute stunner.
