Another Christmas classic given the modern day scandipop treatment. This time it’s the amazing ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’, originally by Darlene Love, and later covered by Mariah Carey amongst many others. This version though is by a girlband from Finland, TikTak. Released around the turn of the century, it replaces the Motown warmth with a pop synth ice. Regardless, hearing this song around the festive season turns any mundane Christmas activity or chore into a joy. And makes you happy that ‘Tis the season. It’s one of those songs that just IS Christmas!
