Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus of ABBA (*scream*) have composed a brand new song together (*SCREAM*)!
It’s a Christmas song/message/carol to promote Benny’s Stockholm hotel, Rival (as with last year’s ‘2nd Best To None‘, also a new composition by Benny and Björn). It’s called ‘Merry Christmas My Friend’ and has been recorded by staff at the hotel.
This is of course a momentous occasion, given that it’s a rare modern day pairing of the best songwriting team of all time. And even though it’s not quite a proper pop song – more a brief and cheerful carol – it’s still worth a listen. It’s Benny and Björn!!!
