The lady behind one of 2011’s most satisfying Swedish pop debuts, ‘We Shine‘, is BACK with her second single.
It’s Alex Saidac, and ‘Stay In This Moment’. The single is coming out soon on SoFo Records in Sweden, and Island Records in the UK – for she be so international. Alex just come back from a trip to London where amongst other things, she filmed a video for ‘Stay In This Moment’. She describes it as “sick“, and we jolly well believe she means that in a good way.
The single has also received several remixes – courtesy of SoundFactory, Lockouts, and Wideboys, and the club promo has already been mailed out to UK DJ’s. We’ve had a listen, and we’re enthralled. We LOVED ‘We Shine’, and so weren’t expecting a second single to be able to live up to those heady standards. ‘Stay In This Moment’ has proved us wrong though – it’s a more than worthy successor to her debut.
Now that the mixes are out there in the grasps of butter fingered DJ’s, they’ve started to appear online, accompanied with a fair bit of buzz about them. First up is the most prolific of the three remixers, Wideboys – and you can have a listen to their full club mix of ‘Stay In This Moment’ below. It takes the song and gives it a pop house spin, with an electro shock running through.
