That was quick!
His debut album, ‘Fairytales’ is out the week after next in some of Europe. This is quite a refreshingly well thought out campaign – EMI obviously completed the album quite a while ago so as to cash in on Eurovision as quickly as possible, and before the hype died down. You’d think that was an obvious thing to do, but some labels really haven’t got a clue these days. So kudos to EMI! You can listen to clips of each of the tracks over at amazon.de
They all sound quite similar, which will please fans of his Eurovision winner, ‘Fairytale’. But the ballads, ‘If You Were Gone’, ‘Abandoned’, ’13 Horses’ and especially ‘Song From A Secret Garden’ sound the most interesting of the lot. ‘5,000 Miles’ on the other hand though – urgh!!!
