A Swede and an Austrian (we don’t know their individual names – but they’re calling their collaborative force Greenwich Village Syndicate) have taken it upon themselves to bring back ‘The Hustle’ – the classic disco hit from 1975. They’ve produced a dance tune based on an original sample of the aforementioned US number 1 single. They’re calling it quite literally ‘Back to The Hustle’. And while on paper you wouldn’t think it was exactly necessary, in practice it’s actually quite ace and we’re glad they’ve done it.
It’s a little bit ridiculous, a tiny part superfluous, but we’ll take this over so much of the other shit that we hear played at 2am on dancefloors these days!
