Last year he released one of favourite singles – ‘Alive‘ – and over the weekend Norway’s Madden returned with the follow-up. Featuring his fellow Norwegian artist Chris Holsten on vocals, it’s ‘Echo’. This time around, he’s gone for a much more up-tempo sound and style. Speaking of the song himself, he says “‘Echo’ is about when people meet, and how memories we experience together create ties that continue to keep us together, regardless of time or distance. When we made this song, I was inspired by theories of parallel dimensions, Motown love songs, traditional Chinese music and a trip I took for love”. The song was co-written with Zak Abel and Andreas Moe, and co-produced with Kid Joki.
