This week in the UK, Eric Saade released ‘Hearts In The Air’ – iTunes link here.
As he told us back in October, the UK label AATW were working on a new mix of the track to release as the single. And so here it is.
‘Twas produced by The Alias, who’ve also done remixes for folk like Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays, Will Young, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and The Wanted. So yes, they’re no strangers to putting a veritable DONK on the odd pop song here and there.
With ‘Hearts In The Air’ they’ve come up with an enormously commercial and dancefloor friendly pop remix. The production doesn’t attempt to remold the song, it stays completely true to the tune, and only serves to enhance the melody. So if you thought the original was uplifting anyway, then this new mix is gonna be the audio equivalent of happy pills.
