It’s becoming likely that the UK release of ‘Chemistry’ by Velvet is going to become a double a-side – backed with her most recent Swedish release, ‘The Queen’. Nothing’s been decided as of yet, but it’s being seriously considered by Fever Pitch Records, her UK label, who are awaiting feedback and opinions from music industry folk.
Personally, we don’t think they should go ahead with it. Both songs are strong enough to be released in their own right. ‘Chemistry’ is a good lead single that has already gained momentum, thanks to radio play, the amazing Digital Dog remix, and the new video which has built up an internet buzz (whatever that is) since it was uploaded last week. ‘The Queen’ would make a great follow up single, although having said that, it’s received a huge response from pop and dance music fans since its studio version leaked online late on Monday evening.
