What’s this? New music from the impeccable music talent that is Sweden’s Violet Days – her latest single ‘Comes In Waves’.
What’s it like? A big production that ends up being something of an epic, deploying sonic distortions to fit in with the song’s lyrics of mental discontent and the cure that another human can provide for it. It’s like stepping into a story, in that sense. And it sounds awesome, to top it all off.
What does Violet Days say? “It’s not easy to be an emotional rollercoaster, but it’s easier when you have someone close to you who understands you when you can’t show up for yourself. This song is a love letter to that person.”
Written by? The artist herself, along with Cassandra Stroberg and Kristoffer Eriksson.
More from Violet Days? Earlier in the summer she released ‘First Times‘.
