Smile.dk are a Swedish pop duo who owe a huge amount of their success to Japan, and to the Dance Dance Revolution video games, where so many of their songs have been licensed to. Their music is bubblegum dance, best compared to early Aqua, and the Danish groups that imitated their sound in the late 90’s; Toybox, Daze, and Hit N’ Hide. So obviously, they strike a huge chord with us!
‘Xmas Party’ is their take on the Christmas single. A fabulously overblown piece of techno bubblegum dance, crossed with over indulgent helpings of candipop scandipop! With a LOT of Christmas bells thrown in. What’s not to love?!
